The most interesting/fun thing we have done during class time this week is Takaro because usually, we don’t get to play on the playground or get out the sports equipment. I played a lot of things I played on the muscle boys, I played cricket and then played touch rugby and we got to do half an hour of it. I am really enjoying Numbots.
We started our art this week and I have chosen to do art with Mrs Heaven and Mrs Loft. Our art is going to be portrait art. I am looking forward to starting but I also think it might be a challenge to get my head shape right.
We created our Whetū stars on Thursday and they look amazing. I created mine with my mum. I had pictures of Kalie and Dad surfing, Henry and Mum on the biscuit and photos of me surfing and playing rugby and the last photo was a picture of my whole family.
Next week we have our school swimming sports. I am feeling confident for some strokes but nervous for some others.
I love to do breaststroke so I think I could come first in that.
