Maths investigation
This week for my maths investigation I had to draw 5 circles and then cut them out then I made patterns with the circles. I had to draw what I thought all 5 circles would look like I got all of them wrong but they all looked cool and it was fun.

Week 1 Whangamata
On Monday, Mum, Kalie, Henry and I went over to the beach, (Whangamata). The Hitchcock's came over in the afternoon. We walked to the playground and watched a movie called Scooby-Doo.
On Tuesday we went for a big walk to the surf club. We had a drink at Blackies and then we walked home. The weather wasn't very good so we went and watched some boats in the harbour. Then we went to the Op Shop and we bought two books for Henry, they were Peppa Pig books and one of them has a Peppa Pig puppet that you can move around. And the other one has a clock on the top of it for learning to tell the time. Holly and Matilda came over on Tuesday afternoon. We went to the dairy to get ice creams. On the way home, Matilda and Henry jumped up and down in big puddles. They had to have a bath when they got back to the bach. And then we watched Fantastic Mr Fox and had fish and chips for dinner.
On Wednesday, we got up and went for another big walk along the beach to Blackies. We found a big log washed up on the beach. We just made it to Blackies in time before it started raining. Then we walked home and had lunch. After the HItchcocks went home, we went down to the harbour playground and played there for ages. We went into town and had ice cream at the ice cream parlour. Then Holly and Matilda went back to the bach and we went to Stirling Sports to buy some new shoes for Kalie and I. We got ready to go to the Boat Club for dinner. I had chicken sliders, two pieces of pizza and chips for my dinner.
On Thursday, we went for another big walk in the morning, but this time we went to the estuary. We found heaps of pieces of driftwood. There must have been a big storm that had changed the beach and the beach accesses were hard to get up and down. We made it around to the estuary where Henry got really wet! We walked home after that, packed up the car and came home.
Here are some photos from our first week of the school holidays.

Term two reflection
My Term 2, 2020 Reflection
The new learning activity that I have enjoyed the most this term is number of the day because it has challenged me to do more than I usually would. The maths challenge has been fun too, and the best part is getting the right answer and hopefully getting drawn out of the starburst draw.
Something that has challenged me this term has been the number of the day. The hard parts in the number of the day are double it, triple it and multiply by five the hardest one is multiply by five. The reading Synthesis eggs have been hard too, the hard part was to get enough information.
The Whetu Challenge I enjoyed the most was the paper airplane challenge was fun because I found out how to make a new paper airplane. The catapult challenge was fun and also challenging. The challenging part was in a group of three you had to use one spoon, 6 popsicle sticks and rubber bands.
The opt-in workshop I enjoyed the most was the dance was fun because I learnt a new dance and I had the confidence to stand in front of the class with some other people. PE was fun too because I like to run around and have some fun. Music was fun too because I learnt how to play the instruments by the front curt and I learnt them all.
An aim I have for my learning is to learn more independently because I learn with other people a lot and to get 20/20 for Number of the Day.
